Organization of the agency

DECREE No. 2018/629 of October 25, 2018 on the organization of the Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in abbreviated “APME” and hereinafter referred to as “the Agency”:

GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • The Agency is a public administrative institution. It has legal personality and financial autonomy.
  • Its seat is fixed in Yaoundé. Antennas may, if necessary be opened in other localities of the country upon deliberation of the Board of Directors.
  • The Agency is placed under the technical supervision of the Ministry in charge of Small and Medium Enterprises.
  • The Agency is under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance.
ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION
                   The Agency is placed under the authority of the management bodies namely the Board of Directors and the General Management
            Board of directors : It defines, guides the general policy of the Agency and evaluates the management within the limits fixed by its missions and in accordance with the regulations in force.
                            General Management : Represents the Agency in all acts of civil life and in court.
