Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are, today, recognized as indispensible players of national and international economies. In Cameroon, the President of the Republic,
His Excellency Paul Biya, gives them special attention.
In a series of measures to ensure the development of this important sector, he created the Small- and Medium-Sized Promotion Agency in order to lend non financial support to present and potential promoters. The Agency is placed under the technical surpervision of the Ministry of Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicraft and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Finance.
Considering the diversity of our missions and the complexity of the SMEs microcosm, this website has been built to serve as a platform of information and exchanges between multiple stakeholders who work for the promotion of Cameroon’s SMEs.
